Lucky to be in Hawaii!

This morning my sweetie pie friend, Tori, and I hiked Koko Head and although the hike itself is rather hellish (go early and take lots of water!), the view is completely worth it! I've been on a bit of a cram-sesh to get into wedding shape two weeks before the wedding! LOL! There's been a lot of cardio in my life :)

See the trail behind me? It's pretty crazy!
We are presently tackling the liquor order for the wedding... and can I just say: we have a lot of drinkers that are coming and we have absolutely no idea how much to order!!! OMG we're just going to pull a number out of the air for each: wine, beer, vodka, tequila, and whiskey. Eh? Eh.

Speaking of liquor, I'm loving these jello shots!

Cucumber lime margarita

Washington apple

Grapefruit tequila "cocktail"
That Martha Stewart! She's pretty akamai! :) Who would've thunk you could class up jello shots? Gosh, remember the ones we used to pass out at Bedroq for $1? Anyone? LOL!

Brett and I really enjoy playing darts together. This was one of the first date activities that we participated in, competing against each other, and then, later, the Pintandes.

Us playing at Brave Horse Tavern in Seattle my last weekend there
This is why I thought this seating card display idea is so awesome! Right? You know you love it, Fiance, I can feel your approval from over here, five thousand miles away!!

So good, right? Okay, I leave you with a super cute e-shoot and wedding...

I love this couple! They are so gorgeous and have some serious style. When a couple's unique personalities come through is what makes a great shoot, n'est pas?

OOOOOooooooh my goodness. Do I spy a big pink bow perched atop a lacy white dress? Antique silver vases and dripping crystal chandeliers? And don't even get me started on those shoes! Ah! In the words of Rachel Zoe, "I DIE."

Last shout out to my bestie, Nikki (bridesmaid and graphic designer extraordinaire) who designed our amazing wedding invitation suite and her bestie (one of many, LOL!) Jennifer, for Jen's amazing wedding day! Nikki did the stationary for this one too!

Isn't Jen a beautiful bride? Stunning!!!

Alright, that's it for me, for tonight! I have a meeting tomorrow with our wedding coordinator and our florist! So excited :) Brett gets here in nine days and we MARRY in seventeen! So soon!  Have a fabulous rest of the week! ♥

Baby Kaitlin's First Birthday Party!

My sister, bro-in-law, and mama planned the most amazing birthday party for baby Kaitlin! I couldn't believe how amazing it was! The decor was fab (Alice in Wonderland themed), the food was super ono (translation: delicious), and there were magnet-makers, face-painters, and balloon animals! So fun!

 Kristin made that cupcake stand!

 Kari and baby Jordin ♥

 Jordin's big sister, Isabelle!

The little lady of the hour and her mommy ♥
Check out Kait's birthday tutu! So cute!

Birthday girl's big brother, Tanner! So handsome!

Did you guys know that Peyton has been practising walking down the aisle as my flower girl? She is the cutest!

 Love the cupcakes!

Peyton and Tanner are besties :)

Gramma and Tanner

So, much kudos to Sister, Brother-in-law, and Mama for pulling off a kick-butt first birthday party! I'm very impressed! But it makes me a little afraid of having kids of our own in the future. We'll just take it one party at a time! Marriage = three weeks, y'all! I'm excited!!!

Cutest and sweetest family ever!! ♥

Off to Tori's birthday party! See you guys out there! Have a great rest of the weekend! ♥

Wedding Mania

[via]
Hello lovely readers! Greetings from Hawaii! I have been here a couple of days and it's been wonderful having my family around me! It's also been more about the weddingweddingwedding than before. Emails, follow-ups, details, logistics, pre-parties, RSVPs, etc etc etc. UGH!! So much to do! But I really can't complain since I really have nothing to do all day anyway! Well, besides catch up with all the bad reality TV that I can! (B+E home = no cable, Mom's house = 1,347 channels + OnDemand) Presently watching season three of Sex and the City. Aaaah. I ♥ Carrie Bradshaw (pre-really really bad SATC movies).

So wedding stuff. Check out this cute guest book idea:

Guests use an inkpad to leave a fingerprint and, maybe, a note and signature. I love the raindrops, reminds me of Seattle. I am pathetically already homesick for Brett and our friends :(
Got some pictures MMS'd to me of them out and about on Saturday and made me sad. BUT I had a great time with my Maryknoll buds that night, so we're even :)

What a great engagement shoot, huh? Lots of personality and flava. :) LOL. I love a good e-shoot.

I love this bride's dress and all her rustic-elegant decor items. I'm really looking forward to meeting with our wedding coordinator on Thursday to go over all the elements that we have planned. The wedding really is right around the corner! It's fun to see everything coming together. I do have a few DIY projects to finish up, but it will all pay off in the end, just you wait and see! LOL!

I'll leave you with this cute stop motion short film. Enjoy!

Twenty-nine days and counting!

Shine Studios Photography via Style Me Pretty
We will wed in less than a month! My feelings are a mixture of excitement + anxiety (so much to do!) + happiness + a little bit of sadness. Sad because one super thrilling chapter of our lives--Seattle, our home, Seattle friends, our feet-sweeping "courtship"--is over. Sad also because the Fiance and I will be separated for three weeks while I'm in Hawaii with my ohana and finishing the wedding planning and he's back here in Seattle doing jobby stuff. That's most of the sadness. I don't know if you've caught on to this, but I'm unhealthily attached to him.

Anyhoo, short post because I have a ton of packing and errands left to do before my flight this afternoon. I've been procrastinating on Facebook, Google Reader, and Pinterest. Boo. I don't wanna go! But I do at the same time! Hawaii, I've missed you. Hawaii friends and fambam, I've missed you more. See you soon!

To the city of Seattle, you have been horrible and wonderful, depressingly gray and cold but also the most beautiful place in the world when the sun is out! I was never bored! To the Seattle family I am blessed to have, ya'll keep in touch, ya hear?! It's been a blast! Lovelovelove ♥ ♥ ♥
